Hey Over There!!!
Our Story
Hey Las Bas!!!
For centuries this exclamation has featured in the music and folk tales of southern Louisiana. Translated literally it means, "hey over there" but its meaning runs much deeper.
It is an invitation for people to gather together, turn their focus to the magic about to unfold and allow the worries of the world to float away. In southern Louisiana you can be sure that wherever there are calls for friends, music and food the spirits are called too!

We bring these same moments of connection and joy to all our readings and rituals. We invite you to come gather around, let your worries melt away and connect with the ancient wisdom of the bayou!
Meet the New Orleans Medicine Man
Paul Resnick
Paul is a third-generation psychic and medium with more than ten years of experience in psychic reading, divination, and spiritual work.
His practice began with Scandinavian folk traditions, including rune work, divination, and ritual practice. Over the years, he traveled extensively, reading for clients from many different backgrounds and developing an approach that is direct, practical, and deeply personal.
After making New Orleans home, Paul’s work continued to evolve through his experience of the city and its distinctive spiritual culture. Today, his practice brings together psychic intuition, mediumship, tarot, runes, folk spiritual traditions, and individually crafted ritual work.
Paul’s readings are not about vague predictions or telling people what they want to hear. He focuses on getting to the heart of a situation—relationships, major decisions, periods of change, spiritual questions, or the feeling that something in life has become stuck.
For clients seeking deeper spiritual work, Paul also offers individualized ritual services focused on areas such as cleansing, protection, love, and removing obstacles.
Above all, his goal is simple: to give every client a space where they can speak openly, receive a direct perspective, and leave with greater clarity about what comes next.
